The RMO (Regional Mathematical Olympiad) is the
second stage of India's International Mathematical
Olympiad (IMO) selection process.
It's a 3-hour, 6-question subjective exam focused
on challenging, proof-based problems in Algebra,
Geometry, Number Theory, and Combinatorics.
Conducted regionally, it identifies mathematically
talented high school students (Classes 8-12) who
will then proceed to advanced training and potentially the IMO.
